The march towards excellence never ends.
That’s a philosophy we’ve imbued in everything we do at QuickVid.
Though there may be setbacks, we’re always working to introduce new features that’ll be helpful to you and improve what’s already there.
Here are all the changes we made in November.
Features
AI slideshows
This is the big one. You can now create stunning slideshow videos entirely with AI.
The process to create it is simple.
Here’s how it works: describe what you want, pick a style (realistic, anime, 3D, cartoon, or oil painting there are quite a few styles to choose from. You can also include a custom style), and watch as QuickVid generates beautiful images for each slide – in line with your chosen style.
From there, you can customize everything—drag text around, change fonts and colors, add background music, add more slides, and more.
When you’re happy with your slides, hit generate and get a polished MP4 video with smooth transitions between slides. At the same time, you can also download the individual slide images right from the app.
If you want to post a video, fine.
If you want to post a series of images (which have been known to increase engagement), fine. You’re in control.
It’s perfect for educational content, social media posts, or anywhere you need visual storytelling without the design skills.

Updates/improvements
Speed improvements
Nobody likes waiting, especially when the whole idea of QuickVid is to do things faster. So we’ve been working hard on performance:
AI Story videos now generate 60-70% faster thanks to parallel image processing. What used to take several minutes now happens in a fraction of the time.
What is parallel image processing?
In essence, AI story would create one image at a time. It would take a few seconds to produce one, then another few seconds to produce another.
That’s not a big deal right?
Well, it adds up when you need to produce 20-30 images.
5 seconds per image would be 150 seconds or more than 2 minutes. There are also more things that need to be done so the entire process would be elongated.
Now, multiple images are created at once so instead of 150 seconds, you’re looking at less than 30 seconds.
We’ve also squashed several issues that were causing slowdowns and timeouts across the platform.
These aren’t directly related to AI stories but are more like quality of life improvements.
For example, the onboarding would have a delay between when you click continue and when the page processes that request. That has been removed, so it’s almost an instant process now.
So, overall, the app is faster and more responsive to the things you’re doing and the options you’re clicking.
Bug fixes
Bugs are a constant companion when building software. Even if you’re not actively creating new features, you’ll need to deal with bugs associated with security patches and software updates.
We’ve fixed over 60 bugs this month, including:
- Auto-save no longer resets your text edits while you’re working. Previously, there was an annoying bug that would delete your text while typing because it was saving the version of the text before you started typing. Don’t worry, it was annoying. It’s gone now.
- Green Screen videos now generate reliably during onboarding. There was a bit of a snafu for green screen video generations that were initiated during the onboarding. We’ve solved that issue.
- Billing history is cleaner with no duplicate entries. Occasionally, there would be a duplicate entry for billing. You were not charged twice, but it looked like you were.
- Audio playback works properly in previews. Sometimes, the playback in previews would encounter a glitch. That has been sorted out.
- Various display and layout issues across the platform. This is more of unifying how each video preview looks, so you have a more accurate understanding of how the final video would come out.
Conclusion
As usual, we’ve been hard a work developing QuickVid into a robust video management and creation platform.
December will see us launching the caption generation feature. One of the most requested. We’re just putting the finishing touches on it to make sure it’s something you’ll be happy with.
